Irmak Ergin

Irmak Ergin is a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University Department of Psychology. She is excited by science that seeks mechanistic explanations of how the brain transforms letters and sounds into meaning.Before coming to Stanford, she obtained her B.A. in Psychology at Bogazici University, Turkey, and her M.Sc. in Cognitive Sciences at University of Trento- SISSA joined program in Italy. During her studies, her research primarily focused on attention and speech comprehension, as well as morphological processing in written language, utilizing a range of neuroimaging and psycholinguistics methods.
